Turkish side Bursaspor have reportedly started negotiation talks to sign Ghana international defender John Boye from Ligue 1 club Metz.
Boye has according to reports in Turkey been a longtime target for Bursaspor as they regard him as a player that will make the difference for them in the new season.
The fee negotiation talks are said to be ongoing but it is not yet clear as to what deal will be offered and if Metz will go with what the Turkish are offering.
However, further reports claim that the 32-year-old may not be in the plans of Metz coach Frédéric Antonetti this season after all and that is why a move will be ideal for him.
Boye remained on the bench throughout the side's 1-1 encounter last Sunday which already triggers the fact that he is set for a move away from the club that will guarantee him game time.
Boye was influential in Metz’s promotion to the topflight making 36 appearances.
