Arsenal boss Unai Emery says tomorrow he will decide if he will hand club-record signing Nicolas Pepe a starting role against Burnley on Saturday.
Pepe, who started from the bench during Arsenal’s win over Newcastle United was introduced in the 71st minute coming in for Reiss Nelson. And when asked if the winger will be ready to start at home Emery revealed that will be decided on Friday.
"I will decide tomorrow," he said.
"My decision depends on how they are in training tomorrow. Pepe is improving with us, he is learning our ideas and styles and understanding his team-mates. Physically, he is getting better. He is closer to helping us from the beginning or having an impact in the match."
Emery also revealed that Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac resumed training and could be available for selection on Saturday.
