Primeiro de Agusto boss Dragan Jovic described his teams 2-1 win over Green Eagles as a tough game.
Jovic believes the match is far from over and Green Eagles still have a chance of making it to the group stage. The Angolan giant's gaffer says they will prepare for Eagles ahead of the return leg.
“It was what we expected, one difficult game for us but we succeed and scored two goals and that was our aim we created opportunities in the first half we controlled the ball with good ball possession,” he said.
“In the Second half we tried to play the same way but Green eagles made a lot of problems I think that its obviously in the second game we will prepare with the same respect because Green eagles are a very good team the chance for Group Stage for me is still 50/50.”
Agosto winger Ibukun Akinfenwa also heaped praise on Eagles and told Futaa Zambia in a prospect-match review that they expected a tough game.
“This is what we expected, they a very good team. We executed our plan well in the first half but it was difficult in the second half, now we know the team we are playing with so will go back home and plan well so that we can beat them again in the second leg," he said.
Agosto snatched a 2-1 win at Heroes Stadium to carry an advantage heading into the second leg to be played two weeks from now.
