Stade Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been named the Ligue 1 Player of the Month for his impressive exploits in August according to Goal.
Camavinga becomes the youngest player to win the monthly individual accolade in French topflight football.
The 16-year-old was handed his official league debut at the close of the 2017/18 season and has featured in all Rennes' games this season.
The Angolan playmaker was handed the Man of the Match award on August 18 when he assisted Romain Del Castillo winning goal in the side's 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
Nimes' Zinedine Ferhat and Toulouse's Baptiste Reynet were also nominated alongside Camavinga - the latter became Rennes' first player to win the monthly award since Ousmane Dembele in 2016.
Camavinga has played in five games for Rennes with the latter occupying the second position on the Ligue 1 table being PSG.
The teenager is in contention to make his Uefa Europa League debut when his side take on Celtic in Group E's opener on Thursday, September 19.
