Turkish side Fenerbahce is said to be keen on taking Arsenal star Mesut Ozil on loan in the January transfer window.
According to Turkish media outlet Takvim, Fenerbahce's Director of Football Damien Comolli is in negotiations with the London club over a potential loan deal.
The former German international was rumoured to be on his way to Turkey in the summer, but the deal fell through as Ozil chose to stay and fight for his place.
One other reason that made the deal impossible was his huge weekly wages (£350,000-a-week), but it is now understood that Arsenal will be willing to pay part of his dues.
The former Real Madrid star has failed to impress coach Unai Emery, who has left him out of his starting lineup for huge chunks of the season so far.
The Turkish club will, however, face competition from DC United in the MLS, who are keen on replacing the departing Wayne Rooney with the midfielder.
Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2013 in the then club record and was the club's star player until recently.
