Harambee Stars goalkeeper Faruk Shikalo says they're ready for Sunday's clash against Mozambique.
Shikalo was addressing the media ahead of the home-friendly match with Mozambique where he revealed they've gelled well as a team following the five-day camp.
"I think morale is high in the camp and after a five-day training the team is has gelled well since the team has been together even during the Africa Cup of Nations and we are ready for tomorrow's match," the Harambee Stars keep said.
"It is good to have competition since it makes someone grow football-wise and it makes you mature as a player," he said when he was asked about the competition he is facing in the goalkeeping area.
The Yanga keeper will be facing competition from Ian Otieno who plays for Zambian side Red Arrow as well as Ulinzi Stars' Timothy Odhiambo and Patrick Matasi.
"My message to the fans is they come in large numbers and give us enough support," he concluded.
