AFC Leopards ready for bogey Western Stima

AFC Leopards is ready to take on bogey Western Stima in week six of the Kenyan Premier League action.

Stima has been one team that has caused Leopards problems in the past season but according to team manager Tom Juma, the preparations for his club were on top gear for the tie.

Juma while admitting that it won’t be an easy game said the fact that they had started the season well gave them the needed confidence heading into the tie.

“We are preparing well for the game and I don’t think we should dwell on the past records. The game of football isn’t something played in the past. It’s true they have had some good outing against us in the past but that’s that.

Four Points

“We took four points from them last season and I don’t think we should concentrate too much on the past. We have started the season well just like them and it will surely be a tough game but we are ready for the tie,” Juma told Futaa.

Leopards are currently placed second on the log with ten points just a point above Stima who are placed fifth on the log.

The match is slated for Saturday 19 October at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos.
