Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird has trained with the senior team as they prepare for a Europa League clash away to Partizan on Thursday night.
Laird has been one of the shining academy stars, but an injury against Reading U-23s in mid-August curtailed his development and subsequent involvement with the senior team.
He has however recovered fully and made his comeback in Monday's 4-1 victory at Swansea City.
He was then pictured training with the senior team on Wednesday morning in front of the assembled media and could be in line for a place in the travelling squad, with the group scheduled to fly to Serbia in mid-afternoon.
It would be his first senior involvement if he can make the squad for the Europa League Group L clash with Partizan Belgrade and this will be another feather in the cap of the club's Academy.
He will join the likes of Mason Greenwood, James Garner, Angel Gomes, and Tahith Chong in making the jump from the youth team to the senior team, following their recent involvements.
Jesse Lingard also joined in training, but there was no David De Gea, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, Diogo Dalot, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba spotted during the session.
United are currently second behind the Serbian side, having won one and drawn one.
