Manchester United are reported to have reached an agreement for the signing of Real Zaragoza wonderkid Mateo Mejia for £130,000.
The 16-year-old has been training with United since July, according to El Periodico de Aragon and caught the eye of the Old Trafford hierarchy after notching an incredible 60 goals for Zaragoza's youth team. United have settled terms with Zaragoza, which removes the need for UEFA to intervene on the cost of any deal for the 16-year-old.
Mejia had not signed his first professional contract yet which means that he was able to negotiate with teams outside of Spain without a fee needed. He joins former Monaco wonderkid Hannibal Mejbri and Noah Emergan as promising youngsters to join the club.
