Argentina striker Carlos Tevez might be 35 years old but reminded everyone of his predatory skills when he pulled a bicycle kick in Boca Juniors 5-1 win over Arsenal in the Argentine Superliga on Sunday.
After the visitors had failed to clear a free-kick from the hosts, Tevez pulled the trick to open the scoring proceedings in the 16th minute for Boca before Ramon Abila ensured they went to the half time break with a 2-0 lead.
A second-half brace from Colombia Frank Fabra and a goal from Mauro Zarate ensured that Arsenal’s Gaston Alvarez goal in the 87th minute was a mere consolation.
The win sees Boca rise to the second on the spot on 24 points; the same number of points as leaders River Plate; Arsenal are placed ninth on 17 points.
