Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia safely arrived in Cairo-Egypt on Tuesday 12 November ahead of their friendly with Al-Hilal of Libya.
The team left the country on Monday just a day after overcoming archrivals AFC Leopards in the Mashemeji Derby to rise to the top of the league log with the friendly meant to keep them fit as teams rest for the international break.
Gor is without Captain Kenneth Muguna, defender Joash Onyango and midfielder Lawrence Juma who are all in Egypt for Kenya’s 2021 AFCON Qualifier against Egypt; the other player omitted from the team is keeper Kisu Mapigano who is with the Tanzania national team.
The team is slated to depart to Alexandria on Wednesday morning where they will train for three days before playing the friendly match.
