☄️ Rennes wonderkid Camavinga called up to France U21s

Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been called up to the France U21 squad to replace Matteo Guendouzi, who was called up to the senior squad as a replacement for Blaise Matuidi.

The teenager has starred for Rennes at the base of midfield, producing a particularly impressive performance against PSG at the start of the season.

Camavinga became the youngest-ever player to win the Ligue 1 Player of the Month award after a string of fine displays in the heart of Rennes' midfield.

Camavinga's astonishing maturity and decision-making skills have caused the footballing world to take note, and now the elegant left-footer will have his chance for the France U21s.

Camavinga was born in Angola in 2002, but he has lived in France since he was two. Just a week ago, the teenager officially became a French citizen. He turned 17 on the 10th of November, just three days ago.
