Burnley forward Chris Wood has returned to the Clarets after pulling out of international duty with New Zealand, with the coach not wanting to risk him ahead of Sunday's clash against Lithuania.
Wood who recently returned to action from a hamstring injury had to leave a training session with his national team with fear he might have a setback on his fitness.
However, he was fit for New Zeland when he featured for 76 minutes in the All Whites' 3-1 defeat against the Republic of Ireland that has fellow teammates, Robbie Brady and Kevin Long.
According to Lancashire Live, Wood has now returned to the Barnfield Training Centre in preparations for Burnley's trip to meet Watford.
