Premier League side Manchester United is keen to offload Alexis Sanchez on a permanent deal in the summer.
Sanchez joined Inter Milan on loan in the summer and has made three appearances in the Serie A so far before he suffered an ankle injury. The former Arsenal man will head back to United after his loan expires and the Red Devils are desperate to offload the player in the summer as reported by Athletic.
The report claims that the Red Devils want to use funds from a potential Sanchez sale in order to secure a deal for Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland, although a deal could yet go through in January. The South American, who managed one goal in three Serie A appearances for Inter before picking up an injury, has a contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2022.
