English Premier League giants Manchester United have enquired about the availability of Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland.
ESPM reports that the player who is valued around £85m is keen to work with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once again after playing for him in Molde.
The teenager has become one of the most sought after strikers having scored 26 goals in just 18 games and is currently the top scorer in the Champions League having become the first player in history to score seven times in their first four appearances in the competition.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is now ready to push ahead with plans to sign Haaland in the winter window, amid growing fears the youngster’s price-tag will continue to increase as some of Europe’s leading clubs begin to circle.
United are ready to approach the Austrian champions with a deal that would see Haaland signed in January before being loaned back to Salzburg for the remainder of the season.
Solskjaer is said to be keen on adding a striker in his side after failing to replace Romelu Lukaku who moved to Inter Milan in the summer.
Apart from Haaland, United is said to be keen on West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in the summer as they continue to rebuild.
