The Spain FA have re-appointed former manager Luis Enrique with immediate effect.
News of Enrique returning to manage La Roja broke via beIN Sports this afternoon. The news follow hours after outgoing manager Robert Morena lead Spain to a 5-0 win over Romania to qualify for Euro 2020.
Enrique had left the role five months ago to tend to the grave illness of his daughter Xana, who tragically passed away in September from bone cancer.
Moreno won six games and drew two in his eight matches. "Robert Moreno has informed his Spain players that he won't stay in the job for the Euro 2020 and said goodbye to the squad in tears on Monday night," reported Marca today.
