Zesco United have arrived in Angola and set up base in Luanda ahead of this Saturday's CAF Champions League match against the 2017/2018 Girabola Champions, Primeiro de Agosto.
The Ndola based giants left Lusaka last night via the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 20:00 and touched down at the Tigra International Airport in Luanda at 21:40 hours local time. The team is accommodated at the Lukweku Hotel.
Coach George Lwandamina named a strong 19 member squad for the trip led by Kenyan talisman Jesse Jackson Were. The only notable player missing from the squad is Chipolopolo defender Clement Mwape.
Zesco United and Primeiro de Agosto are in Group A together with five-time Champions TP Mazembe and Egyptian giants Zamalek.
