Buildcon came from two goals down to rescue a point against Lusaka dynamos while Zikiru Adams scored the only goal as Forest Rangers started the new era with a win.
The MTN/FAZ Super League week 13 action continued with a doubleheader at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium taking center stage. Forest Rangers hosted Kansanshi Dynamos while Buildcon welcomed Lusaka dynamos.
In the early kick-off, Forest Rangers were looking to start the post- Mutapa era on a good note with Owen Kaposa and Isaac Chansa taking charge as interim coach and assistant coach/player respectively.
Ghanaian striker Zikiru Adams was once again the hero for Fole Malembe as his first-half strike proved vital helping Forest to collect maximum points, 1-0 the match ended.
The win moved Forest to sixth place on the log and condemned Kansanshi to their fourth loss of the season.
In the second match, Lusaka dynamos were off to a flying start scoring twice before the half-hour mark through Mousa Lemisa and Willy Stephanus. Buildcon, however, pulled one back at the death of the first half through Moses Phiri and completed the comeback 18 minutes into the second half, Chanda Mushili pulling the hosts level in the 63rd minute to make sure they two teams shared the spoils.
