Egyptian giants Zamalek SC has parted ways with former Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojević popularly known as Micho.
Micho only took over the team in August and took charge of 12 games, winning seven, drawing one, while losing four, including the Egypt Super Cup final to arch rivals Al Ahly.
The Serbian coach, however, managed to lead Zamalek to the Egypt Cup title following a 3-0 victory over Pyramids FC in the final.
Reports from Kingfut indicates that the club is already lining up former Al Ahly head coach Patrice Carteron as his replacement.
Carteron guided Degla to a fifth-placed league finish after taking over mid-season in January 2016, just but had a disastrous campaign with Al Ahly where he guided them in 21 games across all competitions, winning 12, drawing five, while losing three while leading them to the CAF Champions League final.
Following his departure from Al Ahly, Carteron took charge of Moroccon club Raja Casablanca, guiding them to the CAF Super Cup, before getting sacked in November.
The 48-year-old has also had stints with French sides Cannes and Dijon, the Malian national team, TP Mazembe, Saudi side Al Nassar, and Phoenix Rising of USA.
The Frenchman is most known for his time as TP Mazembe manager after guiding the Congolese side to the 2015 CAF Champions League title.
