Shandong Luneng midfielder Marouane Fellaini has responded to reports that he could be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
Earlier this week reports from a French Publication Les Sport claimed that Mourinho is keen to bring Fellaini at Tottenham. It was reported that the deal could happen as early as January with Spurs keen to boost their midfield option.
And now Fellaini has told Eleven Sports he is still in contact with Jose Mourinho but says he is happy at Chinese club Shandong Luneng.
"Jose is special for me. We text each other, we call each other from time to time. He’s taken over at Spurs and he’s doing well. I wish him all the best. But I am good where I am now," he said.
The 32-year-old left the Red Devils at the beginning of February after falling out of favor under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but was a key member of Mourinho's team.
