Scottish League Cup holders Celtic are reportedly interested in the possibility of signing Stoke City striker Tyrese Campbell ahead of the January transfer window according to the Daily Record.
Celtic are believed to be monitoring Campbell as they ponder on a deal to acquire his services as his performances have proved he can be a fit in the squad.
The 19-year-old has a few months left on his current deal at Stoke and according to the report, Celtic could get him much cheaper than expected.
Campbell is set to cost the Scottish Premiership outfit £350,000 which is ideal for the side as they look to work on a tight budget.
The teenager has been a feature in the senior team but he has been struggling to find the back of the net which could call for slight concern but his displays are not overlooked.
However, manager Neil Lennon has Odsonne Edouard, Lewis Morgan and Leigh Griffiths at his disposal which would mean that Campbell would be a force off the bench.
The youngster has one goal to his name from 13 appearances this season.
