Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru is set to rejoin Galatasaray on a six-month loan deal from AS Monaco.
Onyekuru joined Monaco from Everton last summer but has struggled with playing time at the French club.
As the January transfer window opens, he is now set to join Galatasaray where he spent the 2018/2019 season on loan.
According to Complete Sports, representatives of Onyekuru met with Monaco’s Vice President, Oleg Petrov on Wednesday to sort out the final details of the loan agreement.
Monaco agreed to loan Onyekuru to Galatasaray for free on a six-month deal, with the latter expected to pay his full salary for the period.
There is however no purchase option involved in the deal.
During his loan spell at Galatasaray, the 22-year-old scored 14 goals in 31 appearances.
