Yanga on Wednesday started life under head coach Luc Eymael on a wrong foot as they were thrashed 3-0 in a Vodacom Premier League match by visiting Kagera Sugar at National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Kagera Sugar had no respect for their hosts when Yusuph Mhilu gave the visitors a half time lead before Ally Ramadhan and Peter Mwalyanzi added two more goals as Kagera Sugar stemmed their woeful run of five matches without a win.
The win saw Kagera rise to fifth on the log with 27 points after 17 rounds while flailing Yanga remain eighth with 25 points.
In the other match played on Wednesday, Azam climbed to third on the log with 29 points after a routine 2-0 win over Lipuli at Azam Centre. This was their third straight win in their last five matches.
