πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡² Chabinga confident of managing 'unruly' Mbombo

Nkana head coach Manfred Chabinga says they will continue talking to striker Idriss Ilunga Mbombo over his unruly behavior on the pitch.

The Congolese forward was involved in a number of scuffles on Wednesday afternoon as Nkana suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sensational Zanaco and was yellow-carded in the 39th minute.

"Mbombo, we have to try on that one, He has been scoring goals for Nkana and we will keep talking to him. We will manage him," he said.

" Wherever you go even in Europe they are players like that you just have to manage them," he added.

The record twelve-time Super League Champions missed an opportunity to go top of the log following Wednesday's defeat but Chabinga is still optimistic that they have a chance to win the league.

" I don't know if they had underrated the opponents. We are not a bad side we are a very good side, We just have to Psych the players because we have chances of winning the league," he said.

Nkana currently lies in second place with 33 points level with log leaders Green Eagles who have however had a better goal difference.

Next for Nkana is another trip to Lusaka to face inconsistent Green Buffaloes on Saturday at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
