Napsa Stars head Muhammad Fathi says their 4-0 bashing of Mighty Mufulira Wanderers is a good start to the second round of the season for the Pensioners.
Fathi told Futaa Zambia in an interview that his team prepared well for the match hence expected to win but the 4-0 margin was a bonus.
"I think it's a good start for the second round and it will keep us in the top four, so it's the motivation for players and we just have to stay focused for the next game," he said.
" We worked very hard and we expected to win and 4-0 is a plus because it is our first to win by such a margin this season," he added.
New signing Tapson Kaseba scored a brace and made two assists and Fathi was full of praise for the striker who he feels is a very professional player.
"This is why we brought him to Napsa Stars because I know his quality and I expect from him. I know he won't let us down he is a national team player and am sure he will have a bright future at the club, " he said.
"We a team that plays a passing game and not long balls which is continental level, you can't play long balls in Continental football," he added.
Meanwhile, Mighty Mufulira Wanderers coach Harrison Tembo felt his team made his mistakes in all areas and need to improve but he is confident they will survive relegation.
" We can survive, This is football," he said.
"I think in the midfield we did not play our game. In the middle we were are porous. We need to improve in all departments, we did not score and did not defend."
The win takes Napsa Stars to third place with 35 points just one adrift of log leaders Green Eagles. Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, on the other hand, remain bottom of the log with just eight points from 18 games.
