Following the 1-1 draw against Sheffield United, Alexandre Lacazette slammed Arsenal for being too ‘naive’ and urged them to be more ruthless.
Arsenal opened the scoring right at the depth of the first half through Gabriel Martinelli but surrendered another lead as John Fleck netted in the 83rd minute to ensure Sheffield walked away with a point.
In an interview with RMC Sport, Lacazette accused Arsenal teammates of being 'naive', "They (Sheffield) were not very dangerous but this match summarises how we are this season.
"We are winning the match but don’t get it over the line. We are quite naive at the moment. We need to be nastier and more consistent in the 90th to 93rd minutes of matches.
"Especially when we can do better than this. We have the players required. It is a shame."
Arsenal now sit 10th on the log with 29 points from 23 games and next face a daunting task when they travel to battle Chelsea on Tuesday, January 21.
