Fabinho was delighted to get some minutes during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Manchester United over the weekend.
Fabinho has termed the substitute appearance against visiting side United as the first step to get him back to full fitness. Before making his return, the Brazilian had been on the sidelines since November after suffering a knee injury against Napoli.
The midfielder featured for ten minutes against the Red Devils on Sunday after coming in for Sadio Mane and has since detailed his joy to be back available for selection.
"I really missed the work during the week, being with my teammates and getting on the pitch, feeling the emotions of being part of a game," he said.
"So, I was really happy to get the minutes vs Man United, that was really important for me."
"The injury is better, I’m really confident in my ankle, in my fitness. Of course, with the more minutes, I get under my belt, the more time playing, I’ll be able to get back to full fitness and get even stronger."
"It’ll be a very difficult game, definitely. We saw when they came to Anfield, it was one of our hardest games this season. They’re a team that’s solid in defence, they have some very dangerous attacking players and we’ve seen at home they are a match for anyone – they beat [Manchester] City – so they are a very dangerous team."
"But we’ve had a good amount of time to prepare, we know their team well, we know their strengths, so we’ll prepare and go there looking for the victory."
Jurgen Klopp's men will travel to Molineux Stadium tonight to take on Wolves as they aim to re-establish a 16-point lead at the top of the table.
