Ahead of their FA Cup Fourth Round clash against Bournemouth, Hector Bellerin has revealed why the cup is important to Arsenal.
The Spanish right-back has already a hat-trick of FA Cup medals after winning the tournament with Arsenal back in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Arsenal have drawn five, won one and lost one in the Premier League since Arteta (below) arrived, and they beat Leeds to set up the Bournemouth clash.
Bellerin revealed why the FA Cup is important to Arsenal, "Of course, at Arsenal, every single trophy is silverware you have to fight for.
"And the FA Cup is close to my heart personally, but also the club’s – it is a competition every Arsenal fan wants to win every season and we have a chance to do so this year.
"The more games we play, the more we can improve, the more experience for the younger players and the older players.
"And, right now, with the change of Mikel as a coach, every single game is an opportunity to learn and to adapt ourselves to the new way of playing.
"So, taking us through to the next round doesn’t only take us closer to the trophy, but it will also make us better players."
