Southampton are reportedly the latest English Premier League club to be monitoring Celtic defender Jeremier Frimpong according to severla reports.

Frimpong who has been an outstanding player for Celtic since his £350,000 move from Manchester City in the summer of 2019.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian signed a four-year deal in September 2019 and City are believed to have inserted a 30 per cent sell-on clause.

Frimpong is currently on the sidelines after he picked up an injury during Celtic's 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock on Wednesday, January 22.
