Zambian midfielder Nathan Sinkala has left DR Congo giants TP Mazembe after eight years with the Lubumbashi based outfit.
The five-time CAF Champions League champions confirmed that the 2012 AFCON winner will not be renewing his contract in a post on their website. The club also wished the midfielder the best of luck as he moves forward in his career.
"Nathan SINKALA will not renew January 27, 2020, At the end of his contract, Nathan SINKALA will not have his lease renewed.
TPM wishes Nathan Sinkala great success for the rest of his career and will have fond memories of the Zambian midfielder."
Sinkala joined Mazembe back in 2012 and had loan spells at Sochaux in France and Swiss side Grasshoppers between 2014 and 2015 before returning to Lubumbashi.
Sinkala,29, won the CAF Champions League in 2015, CAF Cups (2016 and 2017) as well as 4 DR Congo Vodacom league titles in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2019 with the Ravens.
According to reports in Zambia, Sinkala is set to join the South Africa PSL side, Stellenbosch.
