A number of leagues have been forced to abandon matches due to bad weather that has hit Europe.
English Premier League, the Bundesliga, Belgian Pro League, and Eredivisie have all confirmed cancellation of a good number of matches.
In England, Manchester City vs West Ham was on Sunday afternoon postponed due to what the defending champions termed as extreme weather conditions as a result of Storm Ciara.
The women team's match against West Ham was also postponed
Still, in England, Arsenal Women's team were too forced to abandon their match against Tottenham due to similar reasons.

In Germany, Borussia Monchengladbach's clash with Cologne has also been postponed as the country's meteorological predicted that a storm, which they named Sabine will sweep through the country.
All matches in the Belgian Pro League and the Eredivisie scheduled for Sunday have been abandoned.
"The games for Sunday, February 9 in the Eredivisie are cancelled. After frequent consultations with the Eredivisie clubs, municipalities, police and KNVB, it was concluded that the safety of the fans and players cannot be guaranteed due to the expected weather conditions. The matches in the entire national amateur football are also canceled," read a statement on the KNVB website.
