The relationship between AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly being rekindled again and this time it's through players who are not in Jose Mourinho's immediate plans.
According to Calciomercato, Kenyan international Victor Wanyama and Juan Foyth have been at the centre of discussions between the two clubs, however, the San Siro are believed to be hesitant with the proposition.
Wanyama has been likened to Franck Kessie and Milan are reportedly not eager to bring in a player of a similar calibre.
Foyth, on the other hand, is believed to be too expensive for the club to splurge on - he has a high valuation of over €20m.
The publication further added that Milan would be looking for a slightly different player who will be able to play alongside Alessio Romagnoli.
Wanyama and Foyth are certainly set for a Spurs exit; it is yet to be seen if the San Siro will reconsider the proposition of both players.
