Ryan Christie ahead of Celtic's clash against Aberdeen

Ahead of Celtic's fixture against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership looks to be a treat as the reigning champions look to their extend their current ten points further

Ryan Christie's current goal tally is sitting at 18 for the season and it won't be surprising that he would want to increase son that.

However, Odsonne Edouard is on 24 goals while another star senior player James Forrest is on 16 - all three mentioned players will be looking to improve their tallies ahead of this fixture on their way to their ninth Scottish Premiership title.

Christie was not available for selection in Celtic's last game against Hearts where The Hoops were on fire at the back of the net with goals from Odsonne Edouard, Jeremie Frimpong, James Forrest and Mohamed Elyounoussi.

“We don’t really have any internal competition between us. Odsonne is the man that always finds the back of the net, and I won’t be surprised if he ends up top goalscorer this season. And I hope he does! He definitely deserves it," Christie said.

“Jamesy likewise, and he’s got an incredible ability to chip in with top performances and goals and assists over the course of the season.

"We’re basically all working together trying to get as many goals and assists as we can. I hadn’t scored for a while before Hearts, so I want to be on the scoresheet as much as I can from here on.”
