Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong made his return to the Celtic following a lengthy injury that kept him on the sidelines, Ghana Guardian reported.
Frimpong was withdrawn from The Hoops' match against Kilmarnock after a nasty challenge and for the first time, he returned to training on Thursday.
The 119-year-old was in the matchday squad against Aberdeen where Celtic secured a 2-1 victory although he was an unused substitute on the day.
Callum McGregor and Kristoffer Ajer scored the winning goals for Celtic while Ash Taylor netted the consolation goal for the hosts.
The win has now taken Celtic's run to nine games in the Scottish Premiership where they sit with 73 points from 27 matches played this season.
Frimpong took to social media to share his excitement following his return to the squad.
