πŸ† CHAN 2020: Rwanda kick off residential camp, line up two friendlies

Rwanda on Monday announced a residential camp ahead of their friendly matches against Cameroon and Congo-Brazzaville next week.

The two friendlies are part of the team's preparation ahead of the sixth edition of African Nations Championship slated for Cameroon from April 4 to 24.

Head coach Vincent Mashami said that the team will train at Amahoro Stadium on Monday and Tuesday before flying to Cameroon for further preparations.

The Amavubi will take on February 24 in Yaounde before jetting back into the country and play Congo-Brazzaville on February 28 in Kigali.

Rwanda will be competing in CHAN for the fourth time overall and third in a row since hosting the 2016 edition.

The tournament, which is reserved for players featuring in their respective domestic leagues, is contested by 16 teams split into four groups of four.

The draw for CHAN 2020 will take place on Monday evening in Yaounde.
