Chelsea and Everton have reportedly expressed their interest in acquiring the services of Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino according to reports from The Express.
The report revealed that Chelsea are prepared to pay the £23 million price tag that has been placed on the Uruguay international - the Blues are also ready to battle out any other competition for his signature.
Vecino has been with Inter since 2017 where he joined them from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina where he has made 13 starts, four substitute appearances; scoring two goals and providing two assists this season.
The 28-year-old made 23 starts, seven substitute appearances in the Serie A during the 2018/19 season - he scored three goals and provided one assist and also featured four times in the Europa League and five times in the Champions League according to Whoscored.
During the 2017/18 campaign, Vecino made 25 assists and four substitute appearances as well as scoring three goals and involving himself in two assists as per Whoscored.
