Ghana Premier League big boys Asante Kotoko finally have their man after signing the goal scoring-machine that is Kwame Opuku.

While Kotoko have yet to confirm the deal, Opuku’s lower division side Nkoranza jumped on Twitter to announce the move.

“OFFICIAL: Nkoranza Warriors Sporting Club wish to announce the transfer of striker Kwame Opoku. The goal poacher has been transferred to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club. We thank him for his service to the Club and we wish him best in all his endeavors,” posted the club today.


The leading KickGH added to reveal that Opuku has a new three-year deal after passing his medical test a week prior.

“The 21-year-old has officially inked a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors after undergoing a mandatory medical test at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital last week,” wrote KickGH.

The publication added that Opuku will only be eligible to play in the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
