Fiorentina manager Giuseppe Iachini heaped praises on Ghana international Alfred Duncan following his impressive debut against Sampdoria.
Duncan who joined Fiorentina from Sassuolo during the January transfer window had recently recovered from a hamstring problem before being handed 71 minutes of action before being withdrawn for Marco Benassi.
"He’s a boy I know, I knew what he can give us," Iachini said.
"He has the right skill and he knows how to shoot.
"He started the game but this shouldn’t be seen as a rejection for Marco Benassi or Erick Pulgar.”
Duncan is in contention to start for Fiorentina in their fixture against AC Milan on Saturday.
