Newcastle United are reportedly set for a big spend in the European summer with manager Steve Bruce in contention to be given an £80 million budget boost.
According to a report in the Chronicle, Bruce was previously given funds when he took over which eventually led to Joelinton being Newcastle's transfer record after £45 million being spent on him.
Reports have emerged that the Magpies owner Mike Ashley is prepared to continue in his investment which will come in handy for Bruce to get the players that he needs.
Newcastle are currently in midtable of the Premier League standings which seems okay for now but there are still some parts of the squad that need changes.
Bruce's charges have been rather weak up front and they will need to boost the attacking areas if they are granted a healthy budget.
