Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard is reportedly prepared to wait before agreeing to a new contract as Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in him, Express revealed.
The Hoops are hoping Edouard will agree to a new deal but the striker is willing to listen to other offers before he commits his future.
According to Football Insider, the Celtic hierarchy are aware of the teams interested in their young player and which is why they are pressing for him to sign a new contract.
Edouard has scored 27 goals and involved himself in 27 assists from 45 appearances across all competitions.
However, the 22-year-old has added that he will focus on securing another title with Celtic when the season gets underway.
“I would like to become the best striker in the world,” Edouard said.
“One of the best strikers anyway. I don't know when that will happen. I live from day to day and I enjoy my life. We will see in time.
“Today I'm at Celtic, I have two years left on my contract, I'm very happy here and I enjoy myself.
“For now, there's still two years on my contract, and I am more focused on the five months that we have left for the rest of this season and the two titles we are competing for.
“And then we'll see what happens after.”
