πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ“ Edwin Gyimah on signing pre-contracts and how it can affect a team

Ghana international Edwin Gyimah reckons the signing of precontracts in the South African Premier League brings nothing but chaos to the clubs, Ghanasoccernet report.

Reports claim that Gyimah's teammate at Black Leopards has already signed a pre-contract with PSL giants Mamelodi Sundowns.

George Maluleka at Kaizer Chiefs will be on his way to Sundowns while Grant Magerman who has signed a precontract with the same club will join his club in the 2020/21 season.

Gyimah, on the other hand, believes that this is not good practice and he says that it can affect a team drastically and players in some instances.

"When it comes to players who have signed pre-contracts it sometimes also affects a team depending on the situation the team is in,'' he told KickOff.

"Especially us in the relegation, in the bottom of the league, it really affects us because those players who have already signed pre-contracts were playing a key role in the team.

"It's really, really painful because of where we are in this situation... because the kind of players that we've lost at this moment is a big blow for us."
