Werder Bremen manager Florian Kohfeldt has confirmed that defender Kevin Vogt is available for selection ahead of their match against FC Schalke.
“He’s looking very good. Kevin will almost certainly be available,” Kohfeldt said ahead of Saturday’s game.
During a press conference, Kohfeldt said there were no new injuries and all his players are fit and available while confirming that Milos Veljkovic will be unavailable due to suspension after accumulating too many yellow cards.
“Everyone has seen what Christian Groß is capable of in the Bundesliga,” said the coach.
"In addition to “Grosso”, who played more as a defensive midfielder against Gladbach during the week, Sebastian Langkamp is another candidate to fill in next to Ömer Toprak.
“Basti has trained really well,” Kohfeldt praised the centre half, who could also consider the possibility of moving Marco Friedl into the central position, allowing Ludwig Augustinsson to slot back into his usual left-back position.
