Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is yet to sign a new extension despite Arsenal offering him a new deal.
Reports from French publication L’Equipe (via GFFN) claims that the Gabon captain is yet to decide whether he will stay at the Emirates for another season.
Further reports from journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal offered the Aubameyang a new deal as early as December but they are yet to convince the player to have a longer stay with them with the club ready to embrace any decision taken by their captain.
There are claims that Aubameyang is still weighing the offer on the table with the English Premier League club said to be doing all they can to keep him this is because the player is yet to say that he wants to leave the club.
The contract negotiations have taken longer partly because of the coronavirus with the striker said to be keen on how the market will be after the pandemic.
There are other claims that Aubameyang is waiting to see if Arsenal will make it to the top four at the end of the season as he wants to play in the Champions League once again.
Already, the player is being linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain, FC Barcelona and Manchester United.
