The hosts went ahead in the 10th minute through Lucas Alario, but Kingsley Coman (27), Leon Goretzka (42), and Serge Gnabry (45) ensured the visitors went for the break with a lead.
Robert Lewandowski scored hs 30th Bundesliga goal of the sea on the 66th minute to ensure the points, before Florian Wirtz reduced the difference in the 89th minute.
Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Hoffenheim (2-2)
Rouwen Hennings opened the scoring for the home side in the 5th minute, before Munas Dabbur equalized in the 16th minute.
Steven Zuber gave Hoffenheim the lead on the 61st mute but it was later cancelled out by a late Rouwen Hennings penalty.
RB Leipzig vs SC Paderborn (1-1)
Timo Werner set up Patrik Schick in the 27th minute after a good spell of play by Leipzig, but a fighting Paderborn ensured a draw with a late Christian Strohdiek tap-in in the second half's injury time.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs FSV Mainz 05 (0-2)
A late first-half header from Moussa Niakhate gave Mainz the lead, before Pierre Kunde Malong beat Kevin trap again after a fantastic solo run in the 77th minute.
