Arsenal are edging closer to signing Willian after the north London club made a formal three-year contract offer to the Brazilian.
Willian looks increasingly likely to leave Chelsea this summer, having turned down the club's most recent effort to retain his services until the summer of 2022. The Brazilian is keen to join Mikel Arteta's revived team and the north London side has made a formal three-year contract, but still some way short of the terms offered by Inter Miami and Barcelona.
The 31-year-old has made 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and finished the season in fine form with four Premier League goals after the restart.
