Polokwane City will go down to the GladAfrica Championship with a new coach after parting ways with Clinton Larsen.
Polokwane, known as Rise & Shine, got promoted to the Absa Premieship for the first time in 2013, finished rock bottom of the 2019/20 season with 25 points in 30 games.
The decision to end Larsen's stay came less than a week after the club officially went down last Saturday in a 3-1 loss against Bidvest Wits.
"The meeting went well yesterday, so because of our situation both the club and the coach decided not to continue this journey," City's Chief Operations Officer Tincy Tema told Kick Off.
"Which means in the next season when we are in the first division we won't be having Clinton Larsen as our coach," he added.
