For the first time in ten years, both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will not be in the final-three list of the UEFA Player of the Season nominees.
Instead, it will be two Bayern Munich stars; Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer, battling it out with Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne.
Messi and Ronaldo have enjoyed success at the top for years, winning five Player of the Year accolades among them.
Ronaldo remains the only player to win it thrice, with Messi in second with two to his names.
We take a look at the winners of the award in the last decade.
