Serie A side Napoli are believed to be on the verge of completing a loan deal for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko according to several reports.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 26-year-old had been linked with a move back to Milan but claim an agreement has been reached with Napoli.
Napoli will be taking him on a season-long loan deal which will not include a 'purchase to buy' in the clause and he would return to his parent club Chelsea thereafter.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 under Antonio Conte but failed to make an impact in the squad despite managing to make 43 appearances in that season.
Maurizio Sarri also felt that the midfielder was surplus to requirements and shipped him out on loan to Milan in the 2018/19 season but the Serie A side opted not to trigger the option to sign him on a permanent basis.
He eventually made the loan move to Ligue 1 side Monaco where he registered one goal in 23 appearances before the season was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bakayoko's move to Napoli could be announced at any moment.
