Jose Mourinho's smile by the touchline as his side took a 3-0 lead inside the opening quarter at Tottenham Stadium was priceless.
It was even more satisfying to the Portuguese as it was his trusted pair; Harry Kane and Heung-min Son doing the damage with all the three goals.
The duo combined for the opener in the first minute, as Kane found Son with a near-perfect pass over the defence and the South Korean changed the scores in favour of the hosts.
Seven minutes later it was Son's turn to provide an assist, with Spur's number 10 hitting a first-time shot for a 2-0 lead.
Kane then returned again on the 16th minute to head home a Sergio Reguilón cross, leaving the Hammers stunned.
All this happened with Gareth Bale seated on the bench!
