Bundesliga side Schalke 04 have issued an apology following the racial abuse of Borussia Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko during an under-19 match on Sunday.
According to Kicker, some fans of Schalke were hurling awful insults at Moukoko after he had scored the third goal of the match.
Schalke immediately took to social media to condemn the abuse from its fans and affirmed that the club will be taking the necessary precautions to assure it does not happen again.

Moukoko who is currently 15 will be set to make his senior team debut when he turns 16 on November 20.
The rising star scored a hattrick as Dortmund secured a 3-2 victory in the Ruhr derby and this was his third hattrick in three matches.
